Uses of Riczole-Plus Cream

Riczole-Plus cream is a topical medication used to treat various skin infections and inflammatory conditions. Its components have the following uses:

  1. Clobetasol Propionate 0.05%:
    • Use: Clobetasol Propionate is a potent corticosteroid used to treat inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. It helps reduce swelling, redness, and itching.
  2. Ofloxacin 0.75%:
    • Use: Ofloxacin is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial skin infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, thereby preventing bacterial replication.
  3. Itraconazole 1%:
    • Use: Itraconazole is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal infections of the skin. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes.
  4. Ornidazole 2%:
    • Use: Ornidazole is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent used to treat infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. It works by damaging the DNA of the microorganisms.

Side Effects of Riczole-Plus Cream
