  • Your child may have an altered taste or furry tongue (coating of Obizex MS Oral Suspension on tongue) after taking Obizex MS Oral Suspension. Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help.
  • Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Obizex MS Oral Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.
  • Never use this medicine for the common cold and flu as they are caused by viruses and Obizex MS Oral Suspension treats only bacterial infections.

Obizex MS Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections such as tooth abscess, gum infection, pneumonia, diarrhea, dysentery, peritonitis, burning sensation while passing urine, and certain genital tract infections. This medicine inhibits the growth of infection-causing bacteria by stopping it from multiplying. You may start seeing an improvement in the infection within 3 to 5 days of regular dosing. But, you must still finish the full course of the medicine and never stop it abruptly by yourself as that may worsen your child’s condition or cause infection recurrence.
